Crochet Along Project Week #2

It is the second week of the crochet along and my blanket is starting to take shape.

The first two rows of the blanket are complete.

I used the single crochet joining method. Normally, the ridge would be on the back, but I liked it better on the front for this project. It will give each square a "frame" effect. Click HERE for a tutorial.

This week I will be working on two more rows. I have decided to use a 5 inch square for the parts of the blanket that will be the coffee color.

It is a called the Popcorn Flower Square. The pattern can be found HERE.

The 2 1/2 inch squares this week will be worked in Cafe Latte.
Five Popcorn Flower Squares will be made in Coffee.
